Conversations during challenging times or on difficult topics can often benefit from guidance by a skilled professional.  The Academic Advancement Network, Office for Inclusion and Intercultural Initiatives, WorkLife Office, and Graduate School at MSU are working together to develop a pool of individuals to facilitate conversations.  Leaders at a range of levels have contacted us requesting assistance in hosting conversations for employees (including graduate students) about current events and climate.  Some have also requested that the conversations include strategies for their employees to develop resilience or training in facilitating/navigating difficult conversations in the classroom and in the workplace.

If you are planning a conversation in your unit, please consider requesting the services of one of our facilitators via Qualtrics here. After you fill out this brief form with contact information and the goals of your session, a member of our team will get in touch with you.

Over the next two weeks, we are also offering four sessions open to all employees to engage in productive conversations about current events and climate. Please see the flyer of sessions here.

We are also connecting with the Organizational Development group in Human Resources and the Employee Assistance Program to develop a more coordinated response to the needs for dialogue on our campus.
